Trading in IT was formed in 1995 specifically to fill a gap in the recruitment market, to supply permanent and contract computer professionals exclusively to the Investment Banking sector. This was done because we felt the ‘City’ market was different and needed to be resourced separately from more ‘mainstream’ sector’s.

We came to realise that within the Investment sector candidates not only needed specific technical skills but they also needed to have a strong academic background, business knowledge, commitment and a strong personality. ‘Needing a rocket scientist that can talk to users’ is never more apt than within the trading floors of the major financial institutions of London and Europe
